Reporting to the General Manager, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Head Chef to join this recently renovated, 271 room 4-star hotel; based in the fast developing Sydney Airport Precinct – only 15 minutes from Sydney CBD and 10 minutes’ walk from Wolli Creek train station. This hotel boasts an al a carte restaurant, a stylish bar and 11 conference and event spaces. This hotel aim to be the premier F&B hotel in the local area.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:                                         

  • A hands on management style with proven leadership qualities

  • Previous experience as an Executive / Head / Sous Chef in a similar environment or large corporate restaurant environment.

  • Trade qualifications

  • Effective communication skills with kitchen brigade, team, management and suppliers

  • Computer literate with strong administration skills

  • Flare, enthusiasm and passion to create excellent cuisine

  • Previous experience writing rosters and achieving food & labour costs

  • A strong desire to achieve business goals & targets

  • Flexible work ethic with a passion to create unique and memorable dining experiences.
