This is an outstanding opportunity for a Head Chef to join one of Sydney's most impressive hotel groups. We are looking for an experienced Head Chef – to take ownership of running the fully appointed, recently renovated kitchen.
This hotel gets very busy, we are looking for a Head Chef who has strong experience in high volume and can handle the pressure! You and your team will be in charge with supplying food to a 200-seat dining space plus supplying food to other bar areas – upstairs bar and other dining areas.
If successful in securing this job, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, menu design and setting the highest possible benchmark in quality and presentation. It's expected that you will be highly proficient in preparing modern on trend cuisine; and be able to see the menu evolve - as and when need be.
This is a very hands-on role. You will be doing a minimum of 50 hours a week on what will be a rotating roster; so you will be working on some evenings, weekends and even the occasional public holiday.
