We are seeking a vibrant, high energy, customer focused person to join this established team as the Restaurant Manager with strong wine knowledge. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all supervisors are working as an efficient and cohesive team in the day to day functioning of the restaurant and bar.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations including providing direction and support to all FOH employees.
Ensuring that a quality service is delivered and upheld by all staff. That punctuality & presentation standards are always maintained.
Performing required administration duties on time, including processing required paperwork, sophisticated systems management with weekly reporting.
Wine knowledge a must.
Ensure safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe situations.
Ideally you have:
3+ years of proven managerial experience in an upmarket, high volume quality venue.
Hold a current NSW RSA certificate.
Be highly presentable, well-spoken and confident, capable of developing a strong rapport with the diners – lunch & dinner.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing customer levels as required.
Technical skills and experience in utilising restaurant POS and BOH operating systems.
Ability to exhibit a cheerful, hardworking and helpful attitude.
