We are looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to join Australia's iconic and consistently awarded hatted restaurant located at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

You will need - excellent cooking skills, a passion for creating beautiful food, a great work ethic, leadership capability and a proven track record of contributing to a successful team dynamic. Experience with contemporary culinary cuisine at a high level, is essential.


  • Assist Head Chef and other senior kitchen team members to constantly review the excellence and consistency of standards in preparation, cooking, presentation, service procedures and service times across this operation.
  • Assist with monitoring food and labour costs.
  • Developing strong reliable relationships with suppliers through timely appropriate ordering and the understanding of mutual needs. Monitoring produce used for provenance, seasonality, quality, excellence.  
  • In consultation with Head Chef assist in defining and documenting all prep requirements and management of relevant staff schedules
  • Ensure staff consistently follow established standard operating procedures and agreed on best practice prep and cooking techniques
  • Assisting Head Chef with the establishment and maintenance of cost efficient and effective rosters across all operations
  • Encouraging and maintaining staff morale, productivity and engagement in a well maintained, clean environment
  • Continued self-development and encouragement of education of the kitchen brigade in contemporary culinary trends through research and out of work activities
  • Maintaining excitement and pride with all we do participating in menu development and strategy
